Competition Introduction
With the rapid development of deepfake technology, the AI industry continues to evolve, becoming increasingly sophisticated and practically applicable. As a result, generative technologies have transitioned into increasingly accessible tools. As the quality of synthetic content has significantly improved, identity theft and fraud incidents based on face-swapping attacks have escalated globally, posing substantial risks to personal privacy and public data security.
2025 FinVolution Global Data Science Competition focuses on the domain of visual deepfake detection, bringing together experts from around the world to leverage advanced technologies such as deep learning in the development of detection algorithms capable of distinguishing between authentic and manipulated images. The competition aims to address the growing challenges posed by deepfake attacks across diverse national and contextual scenarios. The competition will conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the performance and practical applicability of submitted algorithms in real-world scenarios, with the objective of fostering innovation in deepfake detection technologies, establishing a safe and reliable AI security framework, promoting the ethical application of science and technology, and supporting the rapid, sound, and healthy advancement of the global AI industry.
